Participating in the Art Street Events organized by SOS-Madagaskids in August 2025 in Morondava was an incredible experience for my family and me. As a parent, I was amazed to see my child express themselves and unleash their creativity on the beach of Nosy Kely.

It was a special moment where the children could paint and create unique artworks, under the watchful eye of the ministry staff and volunteers. The activity not only allowed our children to develop their artistic talents but also strengthened the bonds between families, as we all participated together.

The children were so proud of their creations. This initiative brought a breath of fresh air to our community and highlighted the richness of our local culture. I am grateful to SOS-Madagaskids and the Ministry of Culture for organizing such a rewarding event. It remains an unforgettable memory for all of us!

Ministry of Communication and Culture, Madagascar

As the Head of the Cultural Development Department, it is with immense pride that I share my experience during the Art Street Events and Creativity Day organized by the NGO SOS-Madagaskids, in partnership with our ministry, in Morondava in August 2025.

These events were much more than just artistic activities. They brought together youth, parents, and artists around a shared passion: creativity. On the beach of Nosy Kely, I witnessed the overflowing enthusiasm of the children, who, armed with their brushes, brought their imaginations to life by painting. The smiles on their faces, the wonder in their eyes, and the exchanges between generations created a vibrant atmosphere of sharing and community.

The impact of these initiatives on our community is invaluable. Not only did they enrich our local culture, but they also strengthened family bonds and encouraged artistic expression. I am convinced that events like these will play a crucial role in the cultural and artistic development of our country.

I would like to thank SOS-Madagaskids for their dedication and unwavering support for our mission. Together, we have sown the seeds of a new generation of artists and encouraged a positive cultural dynamic in Madagascar.

Sincerely,

Tiana

Hello everyone!

My name is Tiana, and I am 16 years old. I was fortunate to participate in the Art Street Events and Creativity Day organized by SOS-Madagaskids and the Ministry of Culture and Communication. It was amazing!

On the beach of Nosy Kely, I met many other children and even parents who were painting with us. I was able to create my own painting, where I drew a big sun and colorful flowers. It was really fun to let my imagination run wild and see what others had created.

I learned new painting techniques and also met young artists who inspired me. This made me want to continue painting and expressing my creativity.

What I loved the most was seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces, as if we were all connected through art. These days made me realize how important art is and how it can bring us together.

Thank you to SOS-Madagaskids and everyone who organized this event. I hope we will have many more activities like this!

See you soon,
